I was there - on the last Wednesday of the club house in Villanders. The shooters were invited to the panel discussion "without Tyrol Italy".
I ch came on time at 20.15 clock. The hall was full, so crowded. I was amazed by the great interest, especially since we the younger generation almost two days earlier discussed the same topic in Varna. But it was clear who had shooters loaded, and with a very provocative event title. The brochure "The Stolen Future" was distributed everywhere, the bait, so to speak, the declaration of war for this evening. On the panel discussed no less than Pius Leitner, Sven Knoll, FPÖler Werner Neubauer, ÖVPler Hermann Gahr, Elmar Pichler role and Sepp Kusstatscher. Was moderated by Eberhard thumb.
Already on the image for the Flyer, I realized that it would be a home game for the opposition, but still I did not want to miss the debate. What started out really interesting, was soon to an indictment of the ruling party - and the Greens. Sepp Kusstatscher already was booed in his first statement, words such as "Shut up" "Gea hoam" or "that crap" countered "the audience. By now I realized that there was a campaign event to the South Tyrolean Freedom and the Freedom and no substantive discussion would. The audience, which consisted almost entirely of supporters of the opposition rose again. As Elmar Pichler took role of the word, let him first place finish. Sven Knoll, of course, took advantage of the opportunity and ran on top form as he gave the audience a simple slip Stammtisch arguments. Even the very strong rhetorical Werner Neubauer knew how to distinguish themselves and scored with arguments about European foreign policy. Pius Leitner spoke to the audience from the soul and also received a few rhetorical slips ("Better dead than red red * white * ironic") thunderous applause. Hermann Gahr however, it would forfeit with any of the panel members and moved skillfully in "international waters". Appropos water: I felt almost as if every Italian state's worst-not to say to his enemy country.
