Is hell exothermic or endothermic?
The following is a real question in the final test chemistry at the University of Maynooth (County Kildare, Ireland).
The answer by one student was so profound that the professor shared it with colleagues and spread over the Internet, so we will now also be about may enjoy.
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
Most students speculated by using Boyle's Law that gas cools when it expands and the temperature rises with pressure, or something of that nature
One student however wrote the following:
First we need to find out how much the mass of Hell changed over time. This requires the number of souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving hell. 'I am of the opinion that one may safely assume that the souls that are even in hell, details of which not . More leave>> Therefore, the inference is permissible: "No soul is leaving hell. On the question of how many souls go to hell, let's look at the different religions provide information that exist in today's world. In most of these religions will be clear that you will go to hell if you do not belong to their religion. Since there are more than just one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, one can assume that all souls go to hell. Given the current birth and death rates is expected that the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. View us now consider the question of changing the volume in Hell. Because Boyle's Law to expand the volume of Hell proportional to the growth of the soul must be fewer, so that temperature and pressure in Hell to stay constant, we have two possibilities: first
If Hell is expanding at a slower than the increase of souls, the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose. 2. If Hell is expanding faster than the increase of souls, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it now the solution? If we are the prophecy of my fellow student Sandra from his first year with Involving namely that rather hell freeze over before they sleep with me, and the fact that yesterday I slept with her, only comes up two in question. Therefore, I am sure that Hell is endothermic and must already be frozen. From the theory that hell has frozen over, it follows that no more souls can be received there, because it goes out. Leaving only the sky remains, which proves the existence of a divine being and which in turn explains why Sandra last night all the time "Oh my God!" has screamed.
This student was the only one one.
